We are Ugandans, out in the field planning with our farmers daily on how to get you top quality gourmet vanilla, and rewarding them in turn for their efforts. Badly sourced vanilla is usually picked prematurely for middlemen to make a fast buck, sometimes even stolen, with little regard to farms’ longevity or the wider origin’s reputation. This sadly leads to an unending cycle of poor quality vanilla and poverty for smallholders. In contrast, well sourced vanilla allows smallholders to shine, giving them more purpose and a sustainable future.
